Yusef Rasheed's Eldest Daughter Was Killed

Yetunde Price, the eldest daughter of Rasheed, was shot and killed in gunfire by some gang members of the Compton street gang named Robert Maxfield on the night of 14 September 2003; the incident took place outside a drug house in Compton, Los Angles County, California.  

As per the prosecution,  she was shot in the back of her head through her car window while in her white SUV chatting with her boyfriend Rolland Wormly and was dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Following the incident, Her partner Wormley drove back to a relative's residence in Long Beach and dialled 911. She was rushed to the hospital, but she did not survive. According to autopsy records, she was killed by a gunshot to the head.

Another suspect name Aaron Michael Hammer was arrested in Yetunde’s murder case.

Rasheed's Wife's Second Marriage

After the death of Rasheed, Oracene used to work as a nurse. And soon later, she got married to the American tennis coach Richard Williams in 1980. The pair share two daughters, Venus and Serena.
